My journey started with a phone call, ‘Would you like tickets for WOMAD?’‘

Who are WOMAD – are they a tribute band to Bob Marley?’ (No Womad No cry!)

I’m put in my place and told WOMAD is the World of Music and Dance,
a 3 day festival which takes place in the UK every year, with 2007
being the 25^th anniversary. It’s a daunting prospect,

I’m about to lose my festival virginity to WOMAD.

 How do I dress?  What do I take? I’m a creature of habit.

I like my own bed, my own pillow  and most importantly I like
my own ‘house of office’.

The thought of sitting on a loo where a thousand other people have
sat before me is terrifying.

On the menu are DJs ‘Nerm, Sunny Ji and Pathaan.’
