Tum Bin 2 brings Punjabi folk back in the house with Ki Kariye Nachna Aaonda

TV Actress Mouni Roy shakes a leg in Punjabi number for Tum Bin 2

Makers of Tum Bin 2 have released the dance number Ki Kariye Nachna Aaonda, recreating the famous Punjabi folk song Nachna Aunda Nahin.

Besides featuring singers Neha Kakkar, Hardy Sandhu and rapper Raftaar, the peppy number also stars TV actress Mouni Roy. Choreographed by Remo D’Souza, actress Mouni displays dance moves in her first item number in Bollywood.

“The idea of ‘Ki Kariye Nachna’ struck me when Bhushan Kumar (producer) told me that the film had all the various flavours to it to deem it a hit on the musical aspect, barring the Punjabi tadka,” shared director Anubhav Sinha.

“So when we had our wrap up party in Scotland, I vividly remember the foreigners going crazy on ‘Nachna Aunda Nahin’ and it was my wish to recreate this song. But due to the paucity of time, we had to create a brand new version in a span of five days.” the director added.

Recreated by musical duo Gourov and Roshin, Sinha said, “Hardy is one of the fastest rising stars of Punjabi music. Neha’s mash up of the film’s songs has registered a huge number of hits online, and Raftaar is a talented rapper. With Remo D’Souza choreographing and directing it, this song is one of the most versatile collaborations I have been involved with.”

Tum Bin 2, features actress Neha Sharma, actors Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati and will hit the cinema screens on November 18.
