Celebrated Pakistani designer, Sania Maskatiya, was selected to present her bridal couture collection at Vogue India’s coveted Wedding Show 2015, which took place on 7th – 9th August at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. Her designs were presented on the runway alongside collections by Indian fashion luminaries such as Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Varun Bahl, Vineet Bahl and Shantanu and Nikhil.
Vogue Wedding Show is organised and presented annually by the publication and Sania made her second trip to India to present her collections after last year representing Pakistan at Lakme Fashion week, where her collection Sakura received unanimous praise. India’s style icon, Sonam Kapoor, was seen wearing a piece from the collection on the cover of Cosmopolitan India edition.
Sania has also been nominated for the prestigious Woolmark Prize India and Middle East region this year – the second time the brand has been nominated for the Woolmark Prize.
