Review- Cardiff Mela 2007

Sunshine and blue skies set a beautiful scene as Cardiff hosted its first major outdoor Mela in the grounds of the historic Cardiff Castle within the City Centre. The ‘Multicultural Mela’ provided a great chance for the people of the city and also further afar to experience and enjoy a number of exciting and lively area’s of Asian culture. This ranged from mouth watering food right down to Henna tattoos, jewelry and of course some heavy, bouncing Bhangra beats. The event really brought out a mixed crowd, all keen and set on enjoying the day and entertainment provided for them.
