India is a major destination for money remittance transfers, with money sent from all over the world. The period in which the Indian Festival of Lights, Diwali, falls usually sees a surge in the amount of transfers made, and with Diwali due on 26^th October this year, there are likely to be thousands of people preparing to send money to their friends and relatives back home.
