Infused with musical ideas since his 10 year career in the live circuit, AJD teams up with long-term friends and mega talented musicians Kaos Productions, to bring you one of his own ideas and creations entitled – "Magic" (Jadu).Being a newcomer himself, AJD has bought more newcomers to the forefront to bring his idea of "Magic" to reality, vocalist Billa Ferozepuria from Punjab, and lyricist Deep Ghanauri from Canada.
A vibrant and story-line based video has been accompanied to "Magic" by established video director Guvy Heer.Having composed and written the chorus himself, AJD knew he did not have the full swing of being able to write a Panjabi Bhangra song himself. By using himself as an example. AJ has a strong belief that newcomers have a lot more to prove in a saturated market, which led him to put his faith in a new lyricist, Deep Ghanauri, from Canada, with whom he left the rough idea of Magic, which Deep bought to life in his own words. Upon completion of the lyrics, AJ was on the search for the right vocalist. Having recently watched videos of a well known competition in India named "Voice of Panjab" – he came across the voice of Billa Ferozepuria. Billa was unable to win the Voice of Punjab contest, however, being one of the stand-out contestants, it was only a matter of time before someone would bring his vocal ability to the forefront of the Asian music industry. Acting as an agent on his behalf, writer Bhinder Khanpuri searched for Billa Ferozepuria on the request of AJD, to feature on Magic. The video for "Magic" is a story-line based, vibrant video shot by established music director Guvy Heer. AJD mentioned that "Working with Guvy was inevitable. I had known Guvy from before I decided to venture into music. Guvy has mutual respect for me as a DJ as I have for him as a video director. He knew the standard of quality I was looking to debut with and I thank him for his utmost efforts to create Magic". Accompanying the release of Magic has been "The Magic Single Launch Tour" – Which has seen AJD touring across the UK to promote the launch of Magic, and also doing what he does best – Rocking crowds. AJD also paid a trip to the BBC Asian Network for a guest feature on Bobby Friction's show where MAGIC got it's first airplay, to which Bobby Friction commented “Now that was a special set right there”. AJD sincerely thanks everyone for their love and support across the tour and hopes the support will continue upon the release of Magic, on his own record label, AJD Records.
