Kudos group of companies are celebrating 10 years of producing spectacular events. DJ H, Jas Johal, DJ Harj and a team of DJs formed West London based Kudos Music in 2009. The DJ entertainment company, offering innovative set-ups, packages and talent to the wedding market quickly became an industry leader. The company has since evolved its offering with Kudos AV, becoming a full-service global event production company offering its creative and technical services across private, corporate and music events, as well as audio-visual equipment hire.

Kudos 10

Over the past decade, the company has grown significantly and currently employs 40 staff and manages a roster of 14 DJs including DJ Harv, AJD (BBC Asian Network), DJ Manny and Rajeev B. Last year, Kudos acquired a 25,000 sq.ft premises in Uxbridge, housing its warehouse, workshop, print facilities, creative departments plus sales and operations offices.
Reflecting on the last 10 years, Harry Kataria (DJ H), Managing Director, Kudos: “We are delighted to be celebrating 10 years of Kudos. It’s been an incredible journey; we’ve embraced innovation, invested in new technologies and brought together a talented team. We are proud to have a strong reputation for service, quality and providing creative event solutions to a wide range of clientele. I’d like to thank our team, associates and clients that have been part of our growth and success.”
To celebrate the milestone, the company held an anniversary gala event at the Natural History Museum earlier this month, hosted by BBC Radio 5 Live’s Nihal Arthanayake. At the event the museum also announced Kudos AV’s full accreditation for production at the venue. The accreditation means the company which previously provided DJ services and ground level production to the venue, will now be supplying full technical production to the venue’s clients, including sound, lighting, set, staging and scenery.

Gavin Bevan, Senior Operations Manager, Natural History Museum on Kudos: “We pride ourselves on the relationships we hold with our suppliers, for us they are extended members of our family and without them we are unable to host incredible events. We are excited to celebrate the strengthening of our relationship with Kudos, allowing them to provide their full selection of production services to our clients.”

With event industry guests in attendance, the Kudos 10-year celebration at the Natural History Museum was the perfect opportunity for the company to display its capabilities. Kudos put together an impressive event, showcasing its production abilities which included dynamic lighting across the room, illuminating the main staircase, integrated custom stage off the stairs, full sound system for speeches, band and DJ performances, a large LED screen, 3D lettering outside and illumination of the main entrance, plus various other print and scenic elements.
A short documentary was commissioned by Kudos, illustrating the company’s journey from DJ company to event production specialists: https://www.kudosav.com/news/kudos-celebrate-10-years/
