                                                     KAPOOR & SONS – Since 1921

Family & Fear…Betrayal & Brotherhood…Love & Loss. The hugely anticipated trailer for Kapoor & Sons – Since 1921 promises a rollercoaster ride of emotions, tension and some wholesome loveable moments.

Unveiled by producer Karan Johar of Dharma Productions on his twitter account, the hashtag #KapoorAndSonsTrailer has already soared on Twitter in India after just 30 minutes of its release.

Ahead of the release Karan Johar tweeted: A family…love..conflict..some secrets and lies…scratch the surface and you find it all – and the trailer reveals exactly that, a glimpse into the dysfunctional world of the Kapoor family.

Kapoor & Sons

In the trailer, Rahul Kapoor (Fawad Khan) and Arjun Kapoor (Sidharth Malhotra) return to their childhood home after five years. The two brothers are seen to share a volatile relationship, bonding one moment and feuding the next.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor boasts wit and wisdom as he performs the role of unconventional ‘Dadu’, who is seen getting pictured…just so he knows how he will look when he is dead!

Rajat Kapoor and Rachna Pathak, who are at their usual best, make a quarrelsome couple – Mr & Mrs Kapoor – and their highly terse relationship spills the beans on a possible business tragedy.

Enter Tia (Alia Bhatt), who could play the love interest of one (or both?!) of the brothers – ushering in a love triangle!

Family secrets are revealed, as the characters interweave a set of misunderstandings and mishaps into each frame. The trailer ends on a solemn note with Dadu just wishing for ‘…a family picture which says Kapoor and Sons – since 1921’.
