AR Rahman to act in Highway
AR Rahman has not just composed and sung for Imtiaz All’s Highway, he has also shot for a video of a song. “Imtiaz is directing a music video with me for Highway, for the male version of Patakha Guddi. Do wait for ten days,”
Rahman posted along with a photograph on his Facebook page on Sunday. The photograph also features the film’s leading lady, Alia Bhatt.
The original Patakha Guddi was the first song to be launched from the film’s soundtrack. Written by Irshad Kamil and sung by the Nooran sisters from Punjab, it is picturised on Alia.
The song’s male version is likely to have been sung by Rahman, who has also crooned a romantic number, Maahi Ye, for the movie.
