A red carpet favourite of Bollywood’s A-list, design duo Gauri & Nainika will be among the curation of industry-associated creatives partaking in BollyGoods Edition 2, London on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, 1.30 – 8pm at Ballroom Suite, The Dorchester, 53 Park Lane, Mayfair, London W1K 1QA. Hosted by members of the extended Bollywood fraternity, BollyGoods will be a unique presentation of celluloid inspired fashion, design, art and lifestyle, highlighting the rich creativity beyond the screen magic of the world’s largest film industry.

Gauri & Nainika Karan launched their label Gauri & Nainika in January 2002. An eveningwear brand with styles ranging from cocktail dresses to elaborate bespoke gowns, the label offers glamorous, elegant and chic clothing for women. Inspired by European fashion history, art, music, books, theatre, old Hollywood, red carpet glamour and pictures of their mother from the 70s, the brand has always exuded a feminine and romantic design philosophy, with styles that are luxurious yet understated. The pieces are meticulously crafted and have a timeless appeal, where old world charm, fantasy and elegance are modernised.

BollyGoods will showcase the works of scions of leading families from Indian cinema that interpret their inherited aesthetics through fashion, interiors and accessory design. The show will present the work of the hugely talented family members of Bollywood’s screen superstars, accomplished designers in their own space. Besides the cinema born or connected, BollyGoods will also present the works of fashion designers, jewellers, couturiers, artists and graphic designers who cater to the world of Indian cinema. BollyGoods Edition 2, London will raise the curtain on their latest collections for an audience of cineastes that wants to take a bit of its magic home.
