‘Aaja Veh Mahi’ by UK based music producer Jay Johal Ft Rabia Sagoo

VIP Records and Apna Bhajan proudly present the brand new single by UK based music producer ‘Jay Johal’ featuring the singing sensation ‘Rabia Sagoo’ set for release imminently.

‘Aaja Ve Mahi’ is the fourth release from UK born, West Midlands based Music Director/Musician ‘Jay Johal’ who shows no sign of stopping or slowing down! Following on from ‘Morni’ featuring Bakshi Billa, ‘Gal Sun Lai’ featuring ‘Masha Ali’ & ‘The Chamkila Tribute’ by ‘Sudesh Kumari’ & ‘Bakshi Billa’; ‘Jay Johal’ has now teamed up with female vocalist ‘Rabia Sagoo’ to showcase another string to his bow and to confirm that he is here to stay.

‘Rabia Sagoo’ is a Canada based singer who has been singing since the age of 4. Although many singers claim to start singing at a tender age (it has now become a trend), the proof of this singing sensation commencing her career at such a young age is given by the fact that ‘Rabia’ performed at the acclaimed & renowned ‘Professor Mohan Singh Mela’ in Panjab as an adolescent. For those that know, this Mela is the stage where only the finest Panjabi singers have graced with many singers wishing for the opportunity to perform there.

‘Rabia’ is no newcomer to the industry having already recorded a duet track with ‘Prabh Gill’ for the track ‘Tere Bina – Female Version’ in 2012 which received critical acclaim. This was followed by a solo debut track ‘Chann Maahiya’ written by Koki Deep & presented by Punjaab Records/Harvinder Sidhu. Later, ‘Rabia’ released ‘Sajjre Tarrkeh’ featuring ‘Nick Dhammu’ with lyrics by Preet Daudhar. This was followed by a tribute to the late, great Koyal of Panjaab ‘Surinder Kaur’ via the track ‘Akhiyan’ which featured production by ‘sOe Taranjot’.

‘Rabia’ has lent her soulful and classical vocals to ‘Aaja Mahi’ which is set to be her fifth release in the market and ‘Jay Johal’ has delivered the right ingredients to complement the soulful texture of ‘Rabias’ voice and to present a track that is daringly different without comprising on quality. The lyrics have been penned by ‘Surinder Gulzar’ with the video shot by ‘Parmod Sharma Rana’. ‘Aaja Mahi’ is ready, set and prepared to be unveiled in the market in the coming weeks.
