Yo! Yo! Honey Singh buys team in World Kabbadi League

Music Producer & Rapper Yo! Yo! Honey Singh Star rapper becomes the latest celebrity after actors Sonakshi Sinha &  Akshay Kumar to buy a team in the World Kabbadi League (WKL)  which is scheduled to be held in five different countries from August to December this year.

Singh said “I like action-based sports and Kabbadi is my favourite. I wanted to be associated with a sport on which I really believe in and so I bought a team in World Kabbadi League and Toronto will host my team, Yo Yo Tigers”

“I have been involved in it for the last one and half months and I think it is truly global. I have named it on my name, ‘Yo Yo Tigers’ and I am really excited to see it on screen when it is covered in Sony Six,” he added.

The Punjab-born rapper, who made it big in both the Punjabi music scene & Bollywood with his  music, is already working on composing the title track for his team.

“I have already planned to roll out my next title in support of my team. It will be another peppy number which will also encourage the fans of my team,” said Honey Singh, who has ruled the chartswith songs like ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘High Heels’, Lungi Dance’ & ‘Party Getting Hot, ‘Angreji Beat’ to name a few.

A personal venture headed by Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, the World Kabaddi League will follow the format of Formula One and will be played across four continents in countries such as UK, USA, Canada, UAE and India, starting August 9 in London, UK
