WITNESS A MIRACLE - Black Live in concert

WITNESS A MIRACLE – Black Live in concert

Inspiring, heartwarming, miraculous and musically sublime, the concert features critically acclaimed band Black playing contemporary and classical Hindi music as well as hit Bollywood songs from different eras.
The quality of songs and music is equal to anything that has ever been done by an Indian orchestra in the UK despite the fact that all 13 members of the amazing group, from the percussionists to the two lead singers, are blind.

One of the very talented members of the band is flautist Kiran Vinkar, who has worked on everything from performing at high profile stage shows to playing all the flute parts for the background music of big budget Bollywood film Sarkar Raj.

The brainchild of Sachin Shah, who is head of the National Organisation for Disabled Artistes (NODA), Black has empowered the blind and partially sighted community by delivering colourful concerts that have formed a connection with different generations.

The band is being brought to the UK by Leicester based promoter Jayesh Kotak, who is so confident that people will like the concert that he has vowed to give a refund to anyone who is left disappointed.

"If you want something really special, something which will really bring music to your ears – then come down to De Monfort Hall or Brent Town Hall to see a band that will amaze you with their god given talent. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness a miracle. I can even say that if you don’t like the concert then I will give you your money back," said Jayesh.

The event will also feature a performance from comedy king Gaurav Sharma and there will be a surprise appearance from a Bollywood star.
The concerts will take place at De Montfort Hall in Leicester on September 24 & 26, and at Brent Town Hall on September 25 2010
