WHY YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED FOR ‘DC LEAGUE OF SUPER PETS’

Warner Bros. Pictures’ animated action-adventure feature film, DC League of Super-Pets, is coming to our big screens on 29 July. With voices from the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, John Krasinski and Keanu Reeves to name a few, it’s everything to be excited for.  

So what’s it about? Well, Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends who share the same superpowers and fight crime together in Metropolis. And then? Well, when Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must persuade a rag – tag crew of shelter animals—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle, and Chip the squirrel—to harness their newfound abilities and assist him in rescuing the Super heroes.

DC League of Super-Pets is the perfect family film, involving entertaining Superheroes and their pets, it’s the ultimate film to watch with kids as they will be captivated and thoroughly enjoy the plot of the action- packed adventure of Metropolis super dog Krypto and his team of shelter pets with superpowers. From Ace, a hound who becomes amazingly strong and invincible; PB, a pot-bellied pig who can grow to a massive size; Merton, a turtle who becomes superfast; and Chip, a squirrel who develops electric powers. 

The ultimate Hollywood star duo, Dwayne Johnson as Krypto the Super-Dog and Kevin Hart as Ace, have reunited for DC League of Super Pets, providing their voices. When you see these names, you know the movie will make you laugh. It’s difficult to miss a movie starring these two.

Finally, it’s a fantastic light hearted animation with meticulous detail – and seeing it on the big screen will be mind-blowing.

It will be in cinemas in the UK on Friday 29th July, arriving in time for summer, so make sure to make a date at your local cinema.
