UK AMA 2012 and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan rock Wembley Arena

The 10th anniversary of The UK Asian Music Awards, had to be the best entertaining show, which tops of the previous UK AMA events. By far the 10th UKAMA surely was spectacular and took the audiences by surprise. Despite the technical glitches during the event, decent acts nominated deserved the recognition, good award winners were chosen and good performances were given. For a bonus, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan simply added more buzz to the evening.

Although this event is all about awards and recognition for those artists who’ve been working hard lately, the show was stolen by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who performed a whole 1 hour set with songs from Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as well as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s hits from Bollywood. It was an amazing performance that kept the audiences clapping and cheering to every song being played. Just pure brilliance, mesmerising performance and a wonderful singer to have in our industry. He won 3 awards on the night and every time his name got mentioned on stage, a huge cheer erupts in the building, just the huge buzz Rahat can create within an audience really made this night turn out to be one the best in the history of The UK AMA.
