BBC ASIAN NETWORK ANNOUNCES ‘UNIVERSITY TOUR’

BBC Asian Network announces it’s first-ever University Tour, running throughout November and launching with a live broadcast of the flagship ‘Friction’ show from Nottingham Trent University. The UK's most listened to Asian radio station kicks off its tour on November 10 in Nottingham.
The tour will be bringing the new sound of the station to campuses nationwide, with residents Bobby Friction, DJ Kayper and Mentor Kolektiv showcasing some of the brightest new British-Asian talents, including D-Boy, Jinx and MDK Cartel.

Mark Strippel, Head of Music and Live Events on the station: “BBC Asian Network already has a real connection with students and we’ll be building on that link, as well as growing our reputation for leading in British-Asian music by introducing them to some of the key Live acts that we now play on this station.”
The tour takes on Nottingham, London, Leicester, Guildford, Birmingham, Colchester and Bradford, closing with a Live Broadcast of Riz MC and guests from Kings College, London.
