THE LIVESTOCK AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS [IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION] BILL 2023 has proposed to allow dogs, cats, birds, aquatic animals, and small animals, to be traded LIVE for industrial/other purposes.

This means that the animals will not only be used for the meat industry and leather industries, but they may also be boiled alive for food, skinned alive for a festival, or torn apart alive with bare hands for commercial purposes.

Your dog will be someone’s dinner. Your cat will be someone’s dessert
