Sanjhi Sewa launched to tackle social isolation in our elderly communitiy
Sanjhi Sewa is a journey that a few liked minded people started with the mission to promote awareness of social isolation among members of our elderly community and very quickly have been joined by so many close friends and families. To tackle the desperate situation that some of the elderly are facing, we are planning to work in partnership with organisations like the N.H.S, Age UK, Ring & Ride, Meals on Wheels, Care Homes, Medical health professionals to find best solutions to alleviate the isolation and loneliness that the elderly are suffering.
We are planning to take the elderly on regular day trips, regular coffee mornings and also planning to visit care homes to spend time and talk to residents, fundraising events for further projects.
If you want to join us or find out more information please contact us on sanjhi.sewa@hotmail.com
