ROZINA SINI
Rozina joined the BBC Asian Network in June 2001 as a news reporter. Her reporting of events such as the September 11th attacks established her as a vital member of the BBC Asian Network news team.
In October 2002 Rozina was promoted to Senior Broadcast journalist.
Rosina has covered the July 7 London bombings, the 2005 General
Election and the Pakistan earthquake for the station.
She travelled to India for Radio Five Live and the Asian Network in 2002, providing reports of India’s equivalent of the Oscars ceremony. Born in Bradford and now living in Leicester, Rozina started her radio career in commercial radio at the age of 15, where she presented a range of different shows. Having completed a degree in Broadcast journalism Rozina went onto work on local radio stations in Lincoln and Leicester before joining the Asian Network.
