Review: Blurr

Taapsee Pannu’s debut as aproducer Blurr  released on Zee5 on Friday. Starring Taapsee in a dual role, Blurr is directed by Ajay Bahl, the film focuses on the story of a woman who is losing her eyesight gradually while trying to find out the identity of her twin sister’s killer.

As a producer, Taapsee showed courage backing a project like this, which has its own niche audiences and is not a family watch. And as an actor portraying twins, she blends multiple emotions and balances them off well.

Ajay’s story is gripping and moves at a fast pace. However, sometimes the acting does becoming overacting. Sudhir K. Chaudhary’s cinematography is perfect for creating a near-perfect setting in the hills and capturing each element in a manner that it stays in sync with the storyline.

A thrilling watch if you want to have a night in solving a mystery.
