Rising star Ranbir Kapoor has shot to the top of the list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Men In The World.

RANBIR ROCKETS TO THE TOP

The hottest young actor in Bollywood beat off tough competition from some of the most popular men in the world to win the title in Eastern Eye newspaper’s world-renowned list for the very first time.
 
An incredible run at the box office has turned Ranbir Kapoor into the most bankable young star in Bollywood today and given him the fastest growing fan base in the world. It has also led to him being romantically linked to high profile women and becoming a pin up around the world. The actor doesn’t mind one bit that women love him. “If the women didn’t like me I would feel that something is going wrong, but it feels good. I do understand that the fans I have comprise mainly of women – it feels good to be wanted by so many women,” said Ranbir. 
Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir, who was chairman of the selection panel, revealed that this was actually the biggest win since the prestigious list started. “Usually it is a closely fought contest, where as this year there was one very clear winner. Winning by a large margin is remarkable when you consider the very high profile men who are in the list. If he continues at this rate, there will be very little to stop Ranbir from becoming the king of Bollywood,” said Asjad. 
Permanent fixtures in the top five, John Abraham finished second and Hrithik Roshan finished third.
The highest placed Pakistani was once again Ali Zafar (5), the highest placed pop star was once again Jay Sean (4) and world champion boxer Amir Khan (9) was the highest placed sportsman.
The highest new entry was X-Factor finalist Zain Malik (11). Others in the list include Salman Khan (7), Abhishek Bachchan (13), Atif Aslam (16), Shah Rukh Khan (18), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (27), Shahid Afridi (29) and Amitabh Bachchan (38).
