Palak paneer recipe
150g cubes paneer
2 tablespoons ghee
white onion finely chopped
2 tablespoons ginger, roughly chopped
4 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
2 green chillies, rough chopped
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 tin spinach puree blended
salt to taste
Instructions
In a non stick pan heat ghee.
Add onion, ginger, garlic and chilies, and sauté until deeply golden and fragrant, stirring often, about 10 minutes.
Add the spices ( coriander, cumin, garam) and sauté 2-3 more minutes.
Add spinach , lower heat and simmer uncovered until the spinach cooked approx 10 mins
Taste, and adjust heat by adding a little more green chilli if you want more of a kick.
Add the paneer, salt and continue cooking until the paneer is warmed through.
Enjoy this over Jeera Rice or with Missi roti.
