NISHA HAROON – FIRST INDIAN NORWEGIAN WOMAN TO REPRESENT NORWAY AT THE MISS INDIA WORLD WIDE 2013
Ms Nisha Haroon, of Indian parentage born in Stavanger, Norway, has been selected to represent Norway at the forthcoming MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE beauty pageant scheduled to be held in Malaysia end of April 2013 & is the current Miss India Norway 2012-2013 & is the first woman, to represent Norway in Miss India World Wide. In other words she has made Norwegian history at the World Wide pageant.
Miss Haroon said, "I feel greatly honoured to be chosen to represent Norway and am busy preparing for what I believe will be one of the most exciting goal in my life. A part of my preparations include charity work, and dance training. My ambition is to make my country, my parents and my community and well wishers proud. I have always been inspired by reading historical books, magazines and Asian media coverage in general which have been a strong influence in my life helping me to keep in touch with my culture. I wish to inspire young girls in the indian community, to pursue any ambition their heart desires".
Nisha & her twin sister Neela also made their UK debut when they walked the catwalk at the Asian Celebrations bridal show at Aston Villa Football stadium & where Nisha was also the Showstopper for Leicester based fashion outlet, Anokhi House of Sarees for both days.
