Mega Mela 2016 in association with Arabian Nites

MEGA MELA IN ASSOCIATION WITH ARABIAN NITES, UK’S LARGEST MELA RETURNS TO WARD END PARK, WASHWOOD HEATH, BIRMINGHAM ON SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST 2016 WITH A SPECTACULAR LINE UP OF LIVE MUSIC, DANCE, VISUAL ART AND FOOD FROM SOUTH ASIA AND VIP DIGNITARIES

Over 30,000 people enjoyed last year’s creative triumph and this year the festival is set to be even bigger and better than ever  and hosted by a variety of presenters, the Mega Mela  will showcase the best music, artists, interviews and culture from across the UK.

Performances from the Mega Melas’ biggest artists will be interwoven with other activities such as  bhangra , urban and classical music, sports, outdoor marital arts, kabaddi, dance, horse dressage (Naach), volleyball tournament, fashion,  tastes of Asia food  bazaar’s , a giant fun fair and rides.

Jordan Patel, Mela Mega New Brand Director and Brand Director for Arabian Nites, says: “Last year’s Mega Mela was a real break-out moment for Birmingham where 30.000 audiences attended. This year there will be a multitude of other activities for visitors, I am excited that Arabian Nites will play a major role in the success of this year’s event bringing in even more great content and unique diverse feel to the Festival.”

Arabian Nites the largest entertainment hub in Birmingham will capture some amazing moments and cultural journey of the Mega Mela with exclusive filming and photography.

Arabian Nites embarked on its biggest VIP events this with appearance by the likes of Floyd Mayweather and other major sports personalities. Beginning of July saw Arabian Nites open its doors from lunch time for customers to experience that exclusive high tea experience.

Based in the heart of the community, Arabian Nites have been supporting local talent such as the highly impressive Yafai Brothers who will be making a guest appearance at the Mega Mela. Premier group of company’s are also extremely excited about supporting the community lead project.
