MEDIA ALERT – LEADING AUSTRALIAN STAR LANDS NEW SKY ONE SHOW
Australia’s most recognised international television presenter, actress and model, Tania Zaetta, is about to explode onto British television screens and take the UK industry by storm having just been relocated to London to host one of Sky One’s new prime time shows which hits our screens this Autumn.
Tania was approached by Sky and flown in from her overseas work commitments in Australia and India (where she has been based for the past 1 ½ years) to co-host the brand new flag ship show for Sky One, “Mission Implausible". (Sky One at 8pm from Tuesday 10th October 2006 for 10 weeks).
The ‘Aussie action girl’ teams up with British Touring Car Championship racing driver ‘Jason Plato’. The duo go head to head in a series of seemingly impossible stunts which take place over land, under sea and through the air.
They have no idea what the missions are before they are given their brief and have very little time to prepare and train for the potentially dangerous antics the show requires.
The pair, each with their own fears and apprehensions take us through a very humorous, informative and highly competitive hour of viewing, each with their own views and tactics on beating the other. Seemingly fearless man versus scared of everything girl.
The new show is shot at various locations around the country and is certain to keep the viewers gripped with each mission that’s made nearly impossible to complete.
Tania, known as the ‘Ultimate Aussie Chick’ , ‘Australia’s Action Girl’ and ‘Dare Diva’ is also renowned for having ‘one of the best five butts in the world’ as voted for by FHM magazines along with Kylie Minogue, Elle McPherson, Liz Hurley and Cameron Diaz.
She is considered one of the most watched TV presenters on the planet having hosted over 20 TV shows which have been aired in more than 100 countries over the past 13 years leading to an audience of billions.
Tania is most recognised for her international daredevil action show “Who Dares Wins”, industry insiders consider it to be the beginning of reality and action shows. ‘Who Dares Wins’ has been on air continuously across 80 countries for the past 13 years. The hit show is still shown up to 5 times a week in most countries despite making the first episode over 10 years ago.
Recently Tania danced her way home to Australia to participate in the Oz version of “Strictly Come Dancing”, called “Dancing with the Stars” Down Under. In the UK Tania has worked on ITV’s “Loose Women” and ‘Sky Vegas Live’.
As an accomplished actress Tania is best known for her 9th season appearance in the hit TV series ‘Baywatch’.
She acted in one of the 6 lead roles alongside David Hasselhoff.
More recently she is recognised for her invasion of Bollywood where she has become the first foreigner with no Indian background to conquer the worlds biggest film industry.
Tania has completed 4 consecutive films which include leading roles in 2 of last years biggest hits “Bunty aur Babli” alongside legendary Amithab Bachchan, and “Salaam Namaste” starring Saif Ali Kahn and Priety Zinta.
She is considered the most successful foreign actresses to conquer Bollywood and has an audience in India alone of a billion viewers. The Indian media adore and praise her and she’s been on the cover of every magazine in the country as well as being presented with many awards for her achievements.
