Knockout Father’s Day Song
After surprising everyone with his debut single Give My Love A Brand New Name. Kick boxer/ singer Ali Jacko is set to deliver another knockout blow with his brand new track You Are The Reason, which will be released in the lead up to Father’s Day on June 19. The devoted father of three was inspired by his children to write the beautifully crafted ballad, which revolves around loving someone unconditionally. “This song is very pure in its sentiments so can be about anyone who brings out feelings of unconditional love. My two daughters inspired me to write this song. They might say daddy is our hero, but actually they are my heroes because they inspire me everyday to work harder, reach greater heights for them and be the best I can be,” said Ali.
Ali Jacko Bio:
London born Ali Jacko is a former kickboxing world champion and successful business entrepreneur. He went from being a BMX Freestyle champion at school and running a fashion business to carving out a big hitting career in kickboxing. On December 2, 1990, he won his first B.I.K.M.A British lightweight kickboxing title. In February 1996, he won the W.M.O European kickboxing title and in May of that year defeated Frederic Pierre to win the W.K.O World lightweight kickboxing title. On October 3 1999, he won the W.K.N World Inter-Continental Championship. In June 2000, Ali took his second World Lightweight kickboxing title; this time in the World Kickboxing Network belt. Ali became the first Asian to win British, European, Inter-Continental and World Full-Contact kickboxing championships. His 45-fight career only had one defeat by submission due to injury. Ali retired from kickboxing in 2002. In July 1997, Ali launched JKO TV, which went onto produce programmes for terrestrial, satellite and corporate clients including Sky Sports and Channel 5. In June 2000, Ali launched the UK’s first all Kick/Thai-boxing magazine Kick Boxing UK. He released his debut single Give My Love A Brand New Name in November 2015. The London based singer/songwriter has just shot a big budget music video for the song directed by an acclaimed filmmaker, which sees him starring alongside his daughters. Affectionately known as Jacko by his legion of devoted fans around the world, he hopes the emotion of the song will form a lasting connection with all those who listen to it. He is also hoping to celebrate the achievement of hard-working fathers with the track, which releases worldwide early June and will be available to download from iTunes. “There are so many hardworking fathers around the world who would give their life for their children and I am one of them. You Are The Reason is dedicated to them and to their children who make them the men they are. I hope this song inspires more people to celebrate dads because so many times the good men who love their children unconditionally are forgotten and perhaps don’t get the credit they deserve,” said Ali.
The second single will be followed up by an album, which contains songs composed by top music producers from around the world. Since his debut single Give My Love A Brand New Name released Ali has been working with big names in the music industry in UK, India and USA. He has also built a state of the art music studio in the heart of London, which he is using himself, but also as a space for other new musical talent. “I didn’t go looking for music, but instead music found me. The past eight months have been life changing and I am now creating music that will make a real difference and connect with audiences around the world.
