Jay Sean’s “Down” lifts off in the States!

Jay is soaring up the charts at a phenomenal rate, surpassing the likes of Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and Chris Brown in the process. “Down”, which is Jay’s debut release on Cash Money Records, is currently only available in America but is set to hit the UK soon.

The song has been receiving continuous airplay on radio stations across the country with Jay embarking on a nationwide promotional tour of the US in recent weeks. With countless performances all over the US, from LA to New York, the American fans have embraced Jay Sean and the popularity of “Down” has dramatically increased in the last few days.  

The video for “Down” has only been out for 5 days but has incredibly amassed over half a million hits on YouTube already and has been featured as the most popular music video on the planet. With previous videos like “Ride It” and “Maybe” well into the millions, “Down” is looking set to be Jay’s biggest hit yet as he continues to smash all barriers for South Asian artists worldwide. 

On his latest visit to the UK, Jay performed at Regents Park and fans were out in force to see him on a rare appearance in recent months.
