In Conversation with Jay Sean
BBC Asian Network’s Tommy Sandhu presents a two-part special edition of the “In Conversation With” series featuring British Asian music royalty Jay Sean, recorded on Friday 2nd September at the Radio Theatre in London.
Championed by BBC Asian Network back in 2002, the British singer-songwriter made his debut onto the scene as a member of the Rishi Rich Project, and then went on to release solo material. He was named Billboard’s Hot 100 Artists of 2009 and his single Down sold six million copies. Over the past few months Jay’s charted the BBC Asian Network Official chart with his singles 2012 and Hit The Lights.
At this year’s UK Asian Music Awards he walked away with the award for Best Video and Best Male Act. He is currently working on his new album ‘Freeze Time’.
The show will be broadcast during Tommy Sandhu’s breakfast show on Monday 12th September and Tuesday 13th September between 7am and 10am.
