Hydro – Sugar’ feat Che’nelle / ‘Crowd Goes Wild’ feat Busta Rhymes

After last years summer hit ‘Celebrate’, Hydro returns with his signature cool, nonchalant rap style with 2 white hot singles ‘Sugar’ and weighty ‘Crowd Goes Wild’ An acclaimed live performer, Hydro’s lyrical prowess matched with skills he picked up while working as an intern at Def Jam US, allow him to deliver seriously infectious slabs of slamming hip hop.

The first track ‘Sugar’, has an air of summer about it with its laid back melodious hip hop style. Produced by Clinton Sparks [Akon, P. Diddy] and featuring Australian/Malaysian/Indian RnB singer Che’nelle [who had a hit with her track ‘I Fell In Love With The DJ’] ‘Sugar’ also features a sample of the classic ‘The Makings Of You’ by Gladys Knight and Curtis Mayfield.

The video to accompany the single was shot out in NY and is out on TV now.  That’s not all! The heavier hip hop track of the package reveals Hydro’s versatility and features US inimitable rapper Busta Rhymes. Produced by Grammy award winning DJ L.E.S. (40 times platinum producer for Nas, J Lo, Jay Z), this single is a seamless execution of two very different hip hop styles and works. The synth driven track serves as a reminder to those who condemned modern hip hop to a cookie cutter regime, that innovative and quality hip hop still exists!

The Album features The Kray Twinz who have produced two smash hit anthems ‘All Y'all’ featuring US rapper N.O.R.E and ‘Move Over’ featuring Rock City. Hydro featured with Lembhar Hussainpuri  on PJD’s club anthem ‘Tere Uthe Dil Aageya’.
The future is bright for this forward thinking and innovative artist and label executive. Heading a vanguard aimed at delivering strictly the finest in UK and US hip hop, Hydro is due to release his album Crucial’ 6th October and is without a doubt a name you won’t be able to avoid.  Both singles and albums will be available digitally and ‘Crucial’ the album will be available physically in stores nationwide.

Sugar has gone to TV and radio nationwide this week.
