Humare Ram – London Premiere

LONDON, UK: 05 JUNE 2026 – London is set to host one of the largest and most ambitious Indian theatrical productions ever staged in the UK as Humare Ram arrives at the iconic Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, from 9 – 12 July 2026

Following more than 450 performances across India, audiences numbering over 800,000 and a sold-out international debut at Dubai Opera, the acclaimed stage production will make its highly anticipated UK premiere for six performances only. Produced by Felicity Theatre and presented by Zee TV UK, Humare Ram reimagines one of the world’s most enduring stories through breathtaking staging, cinematic visuals, original music and a cast of more than 100 performers. Starring acclaimed actor Ashutosh Rana as Ravan, in his celebrated return to the stage after 25 years, alongside Felicity Theatre founder Rahull R Bhuchar as Shri Ram, the production explores powerful themes of duty, sacrifice, leadership, family and morality that continue to resonate across generations. Rather than simply retelling a familiar story, Humare Ram uncovers lesser-known perspectives from the Ramayana, bringing to life untold chapters, forgotten voices and new emotional depth for contemporary audiences. Combining large-scale theatrical storytelling with immersive visual effects, aerial sequences, handcrafted costumes and a musical score featuring the voices of Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher, the production has been hailed as one of India’s most ambitious live theatre experiences. Previous audiences have included Sachin Tendulkar, Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan and Hema Malini. For British audiences, the London premiere offers something rarely seen on a UK stage: a theatrical production that combines the scale of a West End spectacular with the cultural significance of one of the world’s most influential stories. Rahull R Bhuchar, Founder of Felicity Theatre and performer of Shri Ram, said: “To bring Humare Ram to London is to bring it to families who have carried this story across generations and continents. This is more than a theatre production; it is a celebration of heritage, storytelling and shared identity.” Ashutosh Rana, who portrays Ravan, added: “Ravan is one of literature’s most complex characters. Humare Ram invites audiences to look beyond good and evil and explore the deeper human questions that continue to shape our lives today.” Parul Goel, Territory Head – Europe, Zee Entertainment, said: “For over three decades Zee has connected generations through stories that celebrate culture and identity. Bringing Humare Ram to London is a landmark moment and reflects our commitment to delivering world-class cultural experiences for audiences across the UK.” With only six performances scheduled, organisers expect strong demand from theatre lovers, families and cultural audiences from across the UK.
