Haryanvi Music steps into the spotlight with viral hit ‘Sheesha’ by Mitta Ror and Swara Verma

Regional music is no longer waiting for mainstream approval and taking over the charts. Right now,
Haryanvi pop is leading that shift in shaping India’s pop culture landscape. One of the biggest tracks right now is Sheesha (Aakhya Mai Aakh Ghali Jo Bairan), the viral track by Mitta Ror and Swara Verma that has quickly turned into one of the country’s most talked-about songs.

What began as a Haryanvi release has rapidly crossed regional boundaries to become a nationwide phenomenon, currently sitting at #2 on the Spotify India Charts and #11 on the Billboard India. The momentum is just as strong on social media, where Sheesha has sparked over 1.5 million reels, becoming a go-to soundtrack for creators and trends. The track has also crossed 30+ million streams on Spotify, while the music video has garnered over 30 million views on YouTubeand 1 million on YouTube Shorts, marking a remarkable rise from a regional drop to a nationwide viral hit.

At the centre of this surge is Mitta Ror, one of the emerging voices shaping the new wave of
Haryanvi pop. Known for blending the swagger of Haryanvi culture with contemporary production,
his music reflects the confidence and identity of a younger generation of listeners. Paired with Swara Verma’s striking vocals, Sheesha captures a sound that feels rooted yet refreshingly modern, a big reason why it’s resonating far beyond its home turf.
