Based on a Punjabi wedding, Manje Bistre is a romantic comedy revolving around a big fat Punjabi wedding set in the 90s.
The makers of the film have released the song video to the title track, Manje Bistre. Sung by Nachattar Gill, the music has been composed by Jay K (Jassi Katyal) with lyrics penned by Jagdev Maan.
Written, produced and starring Gippy Grewal, Manje Bistre stars Sonam Bajwa, Dilpreet Dhillon, Jaggi Singh as well as Punjab’s popular comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi.
Gippy Grewal plays the character Sukhi, while preparing for his sister’s wedding meets Rano and immediately falls in love with her. Rano, being Sukhi’s sister’s friend is hesitant to get involved with him. Then what follows is riot of events and laughter.
Directed by Baljit Singh Deo, is set to release in cinemas on 14th April 2017.
