From Bollywood to poetry: Four unmissable voices coming to Soho Theatre
Soho Theatre is preparing for a season of bold storytelling, live music and contemporary performance, with a selection of shows offering audiences fresh perspectives on culture, identity, relationships and modern life.
For South Asian audiences in particular, the upcoming programme includes stories and artists that reflect a wide range of experiences – from navigating cultural identity to finding your voice through poetry and performance.
Ashes by Convoy
First up is Ashes by Convoy, a new theatrical production centred around Radhika Elizabeth Kapoor and her unexpected journey back to Delhi.
Combining Bollywood, comedy and drama, the story sees Radhika caught between family complications, dangerous gangsters and a world where nothing is quite what it seems.
As the adventure unfolds, she is forced to confront the different sides of her identity and the question of where she truly belongs.
Written and performed by Genevieve Sabherwal, the production runs at Soho Upstairs on 17 and 18 August. Get your tickets here.
FUCCBOIS: LIVE IN CONCERT
Next comes a very different kind of theatrical experience.
FUCCBOIS: LIVE IN CONCERT is a comedy-boyband extravaganza that turns the familiar world of pop stardom into a satire of toxic dating culture.
The world’s biggest boyband is preparing to call it quits, but before the frosted tips disappear for good, audiences are invited to join them for one final run of music, comedy and chaos.
Created by Bridie Connell and directed by Richard Carroll, the production promises an energetic combination of live music and comedy.

Makrooh presents: To Be Continued…
Makrooh will then bring its community-focused work to Soho Theatre with To Be Continued… on 12 September.
The event marks nearly a decade of creativity and collaboration, providing a space for artists and audiences to come together and celebrate the journey so far.
With the title looking firmly towards the future, the event is not simply about nostalgia – it is about what comes next and how creative communities continue to evolve.

Rupi Kaur: Uncut – A Residency
Closing out this selection is one of the biggest names in contemporary poetry.
Rupi Kaur will bring Uncut – A Residency to Soho Theatre from 5 to 17 October, offering audiences an intimate glimpse into her creative process.
Kaur has built an international following through her poetry collections and live performances, with her work exploring themes including love, loss, healing and identity.
This residency offers something particularly intimate: audiences will be able to experience new work as it develops rather than simply seeing a finished production.
