DRISHYAM Movie review – A film that you will not want to miss!

Drishyam-Poster

Nishikant Kamat directs DRISHYAM and it stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta. This Indian thriller will keep you glued to the screen as it has that suspense eye to it at all times. Without revealing too much, the story unfolds when a stranger comes in between a family and tries to tear it apart. A father would do what he has to do to keep that stranger away from the family and keep his family safe with his little world.

After being given the exclusive pre-media screening in London, the media room was stun silent, as we were so deep within the story. The way the director has helped flow the film continuously and let the story to progress, the suspense was present always. The cast did well in their roles; it was Tabu and Ajay Devgn who stole the show with their exceptional acting in their respective roles. Tabu is shown as the dominant female figure, whilst Ajay Devgn is shown as the clever mastermind.

Drishyam---Ajay-Devgun-Tabu

The music background scoring compliments the movie well and it grips your attention in this mind twisting film. This Bollywood movie release sure is a long film, but never once will you feel bored out of your mind. You get comedy, a little bit of romance and lots of tension suspense and thrill.

We do recommend that you go see this film, you will walk out with so many positives from the cinema screening. This year we have not seen many films that will grip on to you, Drishyam keeps you locked in and credits needs to be given to the scriptwriter, the director for his visual vision and the cast who performed superbly to help create a thrilling viewing motion picture. This Ajay Devgn remake from the original is no time-waster, in fact, it is a movie that has elements to be a worthy film.

We give it an 8/10 rating.
