Diljit’s back at it again!

If you’ve been following Diljit Dosanjh on social media you’ll notice the frenzy over his recent posts. The rising star is set to play a WW1 veteran, in a time period where India was still occupied by the British Empire. As a British Sikh who went through the British education system, I did not have any idea of the contribution/involvement the Indian army had in World War 1 so this film is an exciting opportunity for a REAL education.

Sunada Sharma will be making her debut as the actress alongside Diljit as his love interest. The film is directed by Pankaj Batra and written by Gurpreet Singh Palhadi.

What can we expect from Diljit? The answer to that is ANYTHING! In fact it seems there is no end to his talents, from breaking into the Panjabi film scene, smashing the Bhangra industry and making waves in Bollywood.

Going on his past films, Jat & Juliet, Punjab 1984, Udta Punjab and Phillauri, I think we should be in for a treat with such little information provided he has already caused a Twitter overdrive.

Diljit has tweeted to his fans that this film will be released in early 2018, so all we can do is sit tight and wait for more revelations from the main man!
