On Saturday 19thMay, we witnessed British history, the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. While we try to soak in all the glorious moments of the royal wedding. On the same day, history was also being made at a Punjabi concert in Birmingham. This was due to an Indian Punjabi singer/actor called Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit Dosanjh is recognized as one of the leading artists in the Punjabi music industry.

He is currently on tour and performed at his first show on Saturday at Arena Birmingham. He made history by being the FIRST Indian singer to have a sellout show with over 9,000 fans attending. This became an Incredible day for the British Asian public as they got to celebrate the wonderful royal wedding and also make history in the British Asian Music Scene at Arena Birmingham.

All 9,000 fans were dancing and singing along as they were so thrilled to have a Punjabi artist take part in the British celebrations of the royal wedding.
