CC2C grosses Biggest Box Office takings in first Quarter of 2009

‘Chandni Chowk to China’ has broken $13,437,918 (£9,540,355.93) in the first quarter of 2009, compared to only $8,154,609 (£5,785,593.79) taken by Shah Rukh Khan starrer, ‘Billo Barber’.

‘Chandni Chowk to China’ marked Warner Bros. Pictures’ first ever Bollywood production and brought together two world superpowers – India and China – on one cinematic canvas, with filming taking place at locations such as the Forbidden City and Great Wall of China.
