Shilpa has broken new ground before – she was the first Bollywood star to enter the Big Brother house and also to meet the Queen. Now she’s bringing the glitz of the Indian Premier League to Lord’s.

The Indian Premier League made the headlines this season when England’s big hitters Freddie Flintoff and Kevin Pietersen signed million dollar contracts to join the world’s cricketing elite.

Rajasthan Royals, the 2008 IPL champions headed by Warne, will play the champions of the 2008 Twenty20 Cup in England, the Middlesex Panthers, captained by former England International, Shaun Udal. The match will be played in aid of the British Asian Trust, a Prince of Wales’ charity.
