Arjun Kapoor & Sanjay Dutt battle it out in Panipat trailer
Presenting the epic war saga Panipat, in cinemas on 6th December 2019
The trailer for the upcoming film Panipat has dropped. Panipat is a period film based on the third battle of Panipat.
Arjun Kapoor plays the role of the Maratha warrior, Sadashiv Rao Bhau. Kriti Sanon is portraying the role of Parvati Bai, his wife, while Sanjay Dutt will be seen as Ahmad Shah Abdali – the main antagonist.
The trailer shows Sadashiv Rao Bhau, the Commander-in-Chief of the Maratha army, prepare for war against Ahmad Shah Abdali, the founder of the Durrani Empire, who tries to invade them and take over their land.
Parvati is also seen jumping into the battlefield and fighting, standing by her husband.
By the end of the trailer, Sadashiv and Ahmad Shah come face to face.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Panipat is produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar and is slated to release in cinemas on 6th December 2019.
