ANGELINA JOLIE’S FIERY PERFORMANCE IN THOSE WHO WISH ME DEAD

The moment we’ve all been waiting for – cinemas have finally re-opened across the UK. I can almost smell the popcorn! Nothing else feels better then walking through that cinema aisle with your food ready to go, sitting down in your seat and watching the greatest movie of all time. Filled with rollercoaster emotions and a great sigh of relief once the movie ends. 

Not many movies can bring this ultimate feeling, but the new release of Those Who Wish Me Dead definitely did! Starring Angelina Jolie, the action queen. This movie is filled with suspense, sadness, desperation, happiness and heart thumping action. Based on a smoke jumper named Hannah (Angelina Jolie) who’s still reeling for the loss of three lives, she’s settled in a watchtower high above the Montana wilderness. She soon encounters Connor (Fin Little), a skittish boy who’s bloodied, traumatized and on the run in the remote forest. As Hannah tries to bring him to safety, she’s unaware of the real dangers to follow: two relentless killers hunting Connor, and a fiery blaze consuming everything in its path. The performance from both these actors, Jolie and Little is outstanding. The emotions they were able to emit on camera, is not something everyone can achieve, only those who are destined to be stars. It’s definitely an essential watch, just for the experience alone.

Nonetheless what perfect timing! The release of Those Who Wish Me Dead goes hand in hand with the reopening of cinemas, what else could make up for a long and tedious 6-month lockdown then Warner Bros. releasing this adrenaline shot of a movie. Warner Bros. came back with a bang. It definitely got me wanting to leave my house.
