Aloo tikki recipe

Aloo tikki!!!!

INGREDIENTS
Potato / aloo, boiled and mashed (use red potatoes) 250g

2 green chilli, finely chopped

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

¼ tsp turmeric

½ tsp crushed red chilli flakes

½ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder

½ tsp aamchur / dry mango powder

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander, chopped

1tbsp kastoori methi

2 tbsp corn flour

2 tbsp gram flour

oil, for frying

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl take boiled potatoes and mash.

Add the green chilli, ginger garlic paste,turmeric,crushed red chilli flakes ,cumin powder, amchur and salt.

Add kastoori methi & coriander.

Now add cornflour, gram flour and mix well as it helps to absorb moisture.

Mix well so all the spices are evenly mixed.

Grease hand with oil and prepare ball-sized tikki.

Now deep fry 180c

Turn over and cook on both sides until golden brown.

Finally, enjoy aloo tikki with green chutney, imli chutney or prepare aloo tikki chaat.
