Akh Mastani (Punjabi Drums Mix) – Tigerstyle
The song was originally placed on Microsoft's Project Gotham 3 Racing on the XBox 360 in 2005. You may recall Tigerstyle also performed it at the Electric Proms alongside Des-C.
This mix is reprogrammed with sharper Drums and an old skool Bollywood string sample in the background. Its a much better mix overall than the game version.
The track has been released on the Basement Bhangra compilation album by DJ Rekha in the USA only (Koch Records) & has not had a release in the UK yet, and as mentioned will feature on the B -Side to the official video single "Balle! Shava!" releasing on Nachural Records in June 2008.
A Hip Hop version of this track featuring Iceberg Slimm will be on the new album
"Mystics, Martyrs & Maharajas" releasing August 2008.
