Ajay Devgn wants to develop franchise around Tanhaji
Directed by Om Raut, second trailer of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is out now
At the second trailer launch for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,Ajay Devgn said that he wants to turn Tanhaji into a franchise, telling the story of the unsung heroes. He said people know about their heroes in their respective states, but he wants to tell their stories to the whole country.
Ajay was quoted as saying, “With Tanhaji, we are starting a franchise on unsung warriors. This is the first film in that. We would like to make films about people who have been forgotten and have done so much for the country.”
He added, “We want to take this franchise forward because every state has a hero… Not state but these are all national heroes and icons. They are known more in their states than in the country. We want to tell their stories all across the country,“
Helmed by Om Raut and produced under the banner of Devgn’s ADF and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior releases in cinemas on 10thJanuary 2020 and is distributed by Cinestaan Film Company.
