ABHAY S3 REVIEW

When Abhay began three years ago, it followed a rough case-of-the-episode format with the central story following the titular hero through the season. However this time around, there isn’t one case per episode – every episode follows one case. This is what makes this season different from the previous seasons and maybe better.

Abhay follows UP Police Officer Abhay Pratap Singh (Kunal Khemu), who heads the Special Task Force and solves violent and gruesome crimes. He does this while battling his own demons and making sure his past doesn’t catch up with him. Throughout the season, he is both the hunter and the hunted, as he squares up against a cult leader hell-bent on mass murder (Vijay Raaz).

The actors do great justice to their roles. Kunal Khemu brings ruthlessness and vulnerability to the role, making you cheer for Abhay. Vijay Raaz excels in every scene he is in, just like  every other role he’s undertaken.

Abhay, Season 3 is a series with a lot to offer and has everything needed for a cop series. One to watch!
