Salman Khan becomes most searched Indian celebrity

As TOI suggest, the true meaning and evidence of being a star is how much people search for you on the online world. In no change from the norm, it is Salman Khan who rules the online roost. Combining data from Google, YouTube and TOI themselves, Khan has yet again topped the most searched poll.

Salman Khan becomes most searched Indian celebrity

Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan come in second and third places respectively. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan follows in fourth position and then Shah Rukh Khan is the next male celebrity in fifth place.

The top ten list proves that marriage does not affect a celebrity’s popularity because half of those in the list are married.

The “Exotic” Priyanka Chopra came in at #7.

Aamir Khan who’s riding high with the super success of Dhoom 3 but only made it to the #8 spot.

The Besharam Ranbir Kapoor comes in at #9.

Shahid Kapoor makes it to the top 10 overtaking the likes of Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, John Abraham etc.
