He is the man behind one of the most distinctive voices and musical styles to emanate from the United Kingdom in recent times. In a career that has spanned almost a decade to date, chauhan's unique ability to combine traditional Punjabi lyrics and heart-pounding beats with his distinct and instantly recognisable vocal style, has endeared him to Bhangra music lovers worldwide.He started singing in his early age at 10 in India. But at the age of 14 he was moved to uk. And here he got in to all the urban desi music as well. he already had talent about folk music from india but the UK Revolution gave him more exprience about western music. He is been learning music from his dad who is a gurbani(sikhism) music teacher .

Ns Chauhan is talented in playing Tabla, dholki, dhol and raag music. In 2005 he finally met Saahil music and His wait was over. Ravi (The man Behind Ns chauhan) heard his voice and teamed up with him to do his debut album Overloaded with some big producers in uk bhangra industry. which is out on saahil music now. and from there the journey still continues. Ns chauhan is already working on his next album and some other projects. which will be out on saahil music soon.
