I can definitely say that the public made Gadar and making Gadar 2 was difficult. Sharma ji used to tell me again and again and I would say no. But we’ve made the film with the same love and dedication .

What’s your favourite scene from Gadar 1?

I can’t say what’s my favourite or what isn’t my favourite because for me, this will always be a romantic film. Everyone just remembers the pump scene but the picture is a film which has romance, the rich/poor dynamic and had everything. But the thing that held the story together was love.

What made you want to do Gadar 2?

A story is a story and I liked the story, that’s why I said “Sharma ji, we’ll go ahead with it and I was waiting when I’d get a good story and once we heard the confirmation, we started shooting.”

What is Gadar 2’s story?

It is a continuation of Gadar 1’s story so we are taking the story to 1971. Of. course, there was drama, action and we want it in this film too because until there is no drama or action, then there’s no fun in the story.
