MASALA LAJWAAB BABY LAMB CHOPS
8 lamb chops
2-3 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
1tsp of Greek yogurt
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander
½ tsp curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1tsp paprika powder
½ tsp ground cardamom
1 tbp ginger and garlic paste
salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
lemon wedges to serve
Slightly mallet the chops
Combine all the spices, garlic, ginger and olive oil, yogurt in a small bowl and set aside.
Rub the spice mixture into the lamb chops thoroughly, leave marinated chops for 2 hours.
Pan-fry/grill the lamb chops in a pre-heated pan/grill. You can also cook the lamb in the oven 170c 20 mins make sure oven tray is covered so wont dry out .
Cook your lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
