Haka Noodles recipe
ingredients for Vegetable Hakka Noodles Recipe
Thick noodles 300g
Oil 6 tablespoons
1 red onion sliced
1tsp chopped garlic
1 Carrot cut into thin strips
1 Green capsicum cut into thin strips
150g white Cabbage finely shredded
1tbsp dark soya sauce
1/4 tsp MSG
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp White pepper powder
150g Bean sprouts
Few sprigs of spring onion finely chopped
Method
Boil noodles in sufficient water with 1tbs of oil and pinch of salt.
Drain and cool.
Heat oil in a wok, add onion, garlic and stir-fry for two minutes.
Add carrot, capsicum and cabbage and stir-fry for two minutes, stirring and tossing continuously keeping them al dente (crunchy)
Add noodles, soy sauce, MSG, salt to taste and white pepper powder and cook on high heat for a couple of minutes until the noodles are heated through, tossing continuously.
Add bean sprouts, mix well on high flame for a minute
Now serve hot garnished with spring onion.
