Jay status is the first signing to DSP (djsanj productions) the song  Jay Status VS David Guetta – Sill Silli is taken from the forth coming Jay Status mix tape "Mentors Idols and Egos" due out early 2012.  
Born and raised in the UK J.S. starting learning the art of singing at the tender age of 11. He was inspired by his father and brother who mainly sang Mohd Rafi songs after dinner. He follows such singer as Master Saleem, Sabar Koti, and Gurdas Mann.
